Historical Discovery

Share a Find

Do you have access to interesting historical recipes, manuscripts, or culinary documents? We'd love to share, highlight and preserve your finds - please let us know if interested.

Tips

Copyright / Public Domain Sources

Please make sure your find is in the public domain or you have permission to share it. In Europe, for instance, work generally is available 70 years after authors have (unfortunately) passed away (the "life plus 70 years" rule). In the US, works published before 1928 are generally in the public domain. We can help determine this if unsure.

Cultural Heritage

If possible we'd love to hear about the context and cultural background of your find, and whether we can share it publicly.
